Summer Is Here!
Well this past week has seen temperatures soar! and about time to I hear you cry!
Although today proved to be a little less somer than I would have liked! I was driving along at about 2.45 and the sky became very dark and threatening! And low and behold as soon as I got out of my van the heavens opened and it chucked down! I could not believe how hard it was raining, and within about 5 minutes there was a flood of near biblical proportions!
I was driving back through Purely, and the water must have been about 1foot deep! And there were a handfull of cars on the side of the road broken down! Now I know we don't often have bad weather.... well to this degree, but you would think that people have enough common sence not to plough through a puddle as deep as their bonnet.... but alas there are some rather stupid people about!
Lets hope we have more of this great weather over the next couple of weeks!
