Home Grown Tobacco

Last year I thought I would try my hand at growing some tobacco... And I quite successfully grew a reasonably large crop! That said, I did nothing constructive with the plants. I managed to dry them, and although I had instructions on how to process these dried leaves I never got round to it.

So if there is anyone out there who has grown their own tobacco plants and has managed to process it to a smokable state, please let me know of any tips and tricks you might have. The main thing that stopped me was the expense and space needed to mature the leaves!
