Mini Moto Madness!
I recently bought a Mini Motorbike, and boy was it worth it! I have wanted one for years, but they are just so expensive, but I managed to buy myself one for a snip of the normal price on Ebay!
It is great fun, 49cc and boy does it fly! The bike is supposed to go between 30 and 40mph depending on the weight of the person riding it. I am not sure what speed I have had the bike up to, but it feels fast. Being that close to the ground going anywhere between 20 and 30 mph gives you a real rush!
The only problem with the bike is I am not sure where I am allowed to ride it! I have been around my garden a few times, and then I took it down he quiet road along side my house! But I really want to find somewhere where I can open it up!
Any ideas??? Or you know what the laws are regarding where I can ride my bike would be much appreciated. Please leave comments on this.

Craig...i am looking into this myself to buy one for my son for christmas. You can not ride it on a public highway without the correct documentation. You have to ride them on private property or if you have permission from the land owner.

How unlucky! Although I guess you could have got the tree points! What on earth did you say? and what was the penalty? I guess the lesson is... if you get caught, don't be lippy and hope for the best :)

hi law is simple under section 59 of the police reform act you can recieve a warning if you persist the vehicle can be seized. in law it is classed as a motorvehicle in which case it needs tax mot insurance registration and a helmet you need to do a cbt and have a licence to ride. this covers wasteland under other acts. private gated carparks are not deemed a public place in the law so get permission of a local buisiness in writing then have your fun.
