A Close Shave!
Have you ever has a shave with a cut throat???? Well I hadn't until today! and I must say it is quite different from the more modern equivalent!
Before I slapped the shaving cream on and cut myself to pieces, I had a quick look on the internet for tips on using and sharpening my newly purchased cut throat!
Seems that there are perticular angles that the cut throat must be held, and do this, do that etc etc! But the basics are simple, don't cut your throat open. The results of using my 'open razor'.... a bloody close shave. I can definitely suggest you throw your bic away and shave the old way!

The concept of a "cut throat" razor has always terrified me and made my throat (and in particular, my adam's apple) feel rather vulnerable..
How many cuts did you come away with, and how "easy" was it?

I actually came away with no cuts at all!!! I was very carefull though. I also did a fair bit of research on the internet. It has a lot to do with the quality of your razor and also the angle you hold it etc etc. Was as I said though, a very close shave!
