Craig Lewis
As you know this site is called Craig Lewis.co.uk as you may have guess this is my name. I was looking at the stats to see how people have found my website, and low and behold... If you type Craig Lewis into google.co.uk as a UK search I hit at number 19! I guess thats not too bad, but as I am Craig Lewis and I as I own the domain Craig Lewis.co.uk I would like to be a little higher in the google rating.
I have been looking into how websites are rated and apparently by repeating the key words several times on the page will increase your rating. So that said, I guess the fact that I have mentioned that my name is Craig Lewis and also the fact that I keep typing Craig Lewis and that the domain name includes Craig Lewis, my rating should increse!
I guess my only explanation for this rather terrible post is that I am trying to see if one simple post on my site containing the key words Craig and Lewis more than enough times will increase my overall rating on google.co.uk. Which I think I already mentioned!

I tried to search the globe for all those that shared my name a few years ago, and found very few of us that were willing to be a part of it all. I guess if my name was Dave Gorman, I would have had better luck! ta ta

Of particular importance is that people link to your site using the text 'Craig Lewis' in the text. That's why I'm #5 and #9 for my name, one shared by some famous old dude. Sadly I used to be #1 for my name, because Google placed a lot of importance on incoming links, and even though their importance has dropped, it'll help you out a lot. I'll add a link onto my site to help you in your cause!

Strangely enough my name is Craig Lewis too. I was just watching "the Gadget Show" on TV and they were discussing google and how it workks etc. I would be very interested to find out how many places you have managed to move up by typing your name more times on your page.

I have been looking at how my site is rated by google etc, and I think the additional typing of Craig Lewis did help, although not as much as I would have guessed. The Key seems to be with the quality and amount of links to the site in question.
If you don't mind, please leave a little more information about yourself. I just find it interesting to see where and what the other craig lewis's are doing.

I'm a Craig S Lewis from Vermont USA. Born in Montreal Canada. All Grand parents born in U.K. in the 1800's. Lewis Grandfather was from Wales. William Lewis. His son (my Dad) was Charles Lewis.

Hello,
My fiancee is called Craig Lewis, he's a little over 6ft 9" tall, is a Goth and stacks shelves for a living in a department store. Incedently, there is also a Client at my work called Craig Lewis( I work for a Community Drugs Team)and as it is not a common name wondered whether my partner had some sort of sordid drug fuelled past. It wasn't him though so there is a Junkie Craig Lewis as well.
